As a Business Analyst, you will support the Ursa Major Growth Team (Business Development, Marketing & Communications, Government Relations, and all aspects of External Affairs) from the new Washington, DC office. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of administrative excellence, strategic analysis, and operational management. This role will be pivotal to the successful launch of the new DC office and the new front end of the Ursa Major business. Key Responsibilities:
- Executive Support: Assist the CGO with scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, and other executive administrative tasks.
- Data Analysis: Perform market research, customer analysis, and data reporting to support business development strategies.
- Policy Analysis: Conduct research and analysis on space and defense policy to inform strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with industry and government trends.
- Office Management: Maintain office operations, supplies, and vendor relationships to ensure a productive work environment.
- Communication: Coordinate internal and external communications, including preparing presentations, reports, and memos.
- Project Coordination: Track progress on key business development initiatives and ensure deadlines are met.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline administrative and operational workflows within the business development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to derive insights from data.
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Project management experience or certifications.
Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $66,000 - $90,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
