We are seeking a motivated Expeditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic approach to Inventory Control. You must be willing to match our fast-paced cadence and thrive with rapid change.  

As an Expeditor you are aiming to efficiently bring hardware into and out of the ERP system and always keep inventory accuracy at 100% while executing daily requests. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate transactions of all hardware in and out of Ursa Major facilities. You will support basic ERP transactions, escalate any identified nonconformance and ensure hardware is delivered safely on time, and with clear traceability within the facility. ERP accuracy and improvement is our continual goal which will drive many projects you are tasked with.

The right person for this role will be passionate about communicating with, supporting, and serving others. They must enjoy being self-motivated and working with various teams to continuously improve processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Shop floor material control; including locating and transporting hardware among workstations within the facility. 
  • Completing daily inventory transactions.
  • Assembling material kits.
  • Perform daily cycle counts.
  • Assistance with periodic full physical inventory counts.
  • Identify low stock levels, do preliminary investigation into shortage and escalate when necessary.
  • Execute engineering approved edits to Manufacturing Orders within ERP
  • Shipping and receiving; including scanning and filing, updating ERP receipts, stocking shipping materials, packaging outgoing hardware, and scheduling shipments and pickups. 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and routing deliveries to their intended recipients.
  • Assisting teams on projects and improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

Experience / Requirements: 

  • Exceptional organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to lift and transport parts and tools weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with computer software and ability to learn new programs.

 

Colorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $26.92- $33.65 per hour, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. What we can’t quantify for you are the exciting challenges, supportive team, and amazing culture we enjoy. 

Classification: Full-time Non-Exempt
